Jack and Jill Conversation about Pandemic Corona Virus
(Scene: A hospital waiting room. Jill and Jack are sitting anxiously.)
Jill: The doctor just took my son back. What if they find out he has the virus?
Jack: Don't worry, the doctors are taking all the necessary precautions.
Jill: Yeah, but what if he has it? What if he gets worse? I'm so scared for him.
Jack: We just need to stay positive. They'll take good care of him, and if he does have the virus, he'll get treatment and be alright.
(The doctor returns with a solemn expression)
Doctor: I'm sorry, Jill. Your son tested positive for the coronavirus. He's stable for now, but he needs to remain in the hospital for monitoring.
Jill: ( choking back tears) Is he going to be OK?
Doctor: He has mild symptoms, so he should be. We'll monitor him and keep him comfortable, and if his condition worsens we'll take the necessary measures.
Jill: Thank you, doctor.
(The doctor exits, and Jill and Jack embrace.)
Jack: We'll get through this together. He'll be alright.
